As they have every season, the Seattle Sounders will be sporting a new look in 2018. This year’s addition is “New Rave Green”, otherwise known as “that jersey that looks like it’s made out of crushed velvet.” Initial reactions to the new jersey were not good. But after seeing it in person and being worn by actual people, I, personally, was less bothered. I’d even go as far as saying it’s “fine”.
What I’m interested in, though, is how you think it looks in the context of the entire 2018 set. It will be paired with “Heritage White”, the holdover from last year. Unlike every year from 2010-17, though, there is no third jersey. How does that affect your overall opinion?
Take a gander at the video review of the kit combos throughout the years, then tell us which overall set is your favorite.
