MLS

The 2018 MLS season begins this coming weekend. The Mane Land ranked all the 2018 kits. Let’s see where the Sounders kit ended up.

Now that we’ve seen all the new kits ranked, let’s judge them.

Now take a look at some concept kits designed by William Geddes for all 23 teams. There are a few really nice ones, and a couple head scratchers.

It’s almost impossible to correctly project one team’s lineup, let alone all 23 MLS teams. Soccer America tried to do exactly that.

Atlanta United lost its best defensive midfielder this off season and couldn’t replace him. The club can still improve its defense, just in an unconventional way - by attacking even more aggressively.

USA

It looks like the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be expanded. Outside of there being 16 teams, they are also looking at the possibility of hosting games outside of the United States.

With a potential Columbus to Austin move on hold for now, Austin is gearing up for USL in 2019.

World

Future Sounder Luis Suarez has been on a tear recently, and his improvement has Barcelona humming right along.

The Afghanistan Women’s National Team has risen from 126th to 106th in the world the last two years, but it hasn’t been easy for them. Their head coach, Kelly Lindsey, says it’s often literally a matter of life and death for the players.
