Diego Rossi opened the scoring for Los Angeles Football Club when Carlos Vela fed him a nifty little ball into space. Rossi put it past Stefan Frei. LAFC then managed to hang onto that 1-goal lead for the next 79 minutes as Seattle Sounders FC battered their former backup Tyler Miller. Miller had seven saves. Stefan Frei had zero saves, the only shot on goal being the one that scored.
The Sounders ended the game with 10 men, as Tony Alfaro took two yellow cards in the match.
Sounders dominate match, but a defensive lapse proves costly.
