Major Link Soccer: MLS teams do well in first leg of CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinals

I’m sure you already know but the Sounders won their first leg against Chivas de Guadalajara 1-0 on Wednesday night on Clint Dempsey’s goal late in the second half.


It was a great first leg of the CONCACAF Champions League for the three MLS teams left in the competition. After the New York Red Bulls beat Club Tijuana on Tuesday night, Toronto FC became the second team to win their first leg 2-1 on Wednesday night.
