If you’ve been watching the World Cup, you’ve probably noticed that Iceland has become known for something they call “The Viking Clap.” You’ve also probably noticed that it bears a striking resemblance to our very own “Boom-Boom-Clap.” And you may even know that both of us borrowed it from European clubs who’ve been doing it longer than either of us. Well, no matter what you call it, Iceland’s goalkeeper produced a commercial for Coca-Cola that puts the cheer in a very flattering light.
If you didn’t get chills watching that, you’re due for a doctor’s appointment. Even with the product placement, that’s pretty amazing stuff.
