Let’s follow the clues about Sounders’ new signing

We think we know who it is...

If you’re anything like me, you love a good mystery. Following the clues, coming up with your own theories, and then finally figuring it out. The Seattle Sounders’ social media team just gave us quite a puzzle.

There’s. A. Lot. Here. The first clue comes fast, the music. After some running it through Shazam and asking around a bit, I think I figured out that it’s the Peruvian national anthem. Next we get the number, 9. OK, so a Peruvian No. 9?

Now they’re putting the name on. It ends with a “z.” So a it’s a Peruvian No. 9 whose name ends in z...

Oh, who am I kidding? It’s Raul Ruidiaz. But if you’re reading this site, you probably knew that already. At least “El Nuevo Nueve” is catchy. Well played Sounders, well played.
