In an ideal world, the final match in a double-game week would feature some squad rotation. Several of Seattle Sounders coach Brian Schmetzer’s options will be limited. Harry Shipp has a hamstring injury and did not travel to Los Angeles with the rest of the team.

Shipp joins Jordan Morris (ACL tear), Felix Chenkam (herniated disc) and Henry Wingo (concussion) as out for the match.
Lamar Neagle took a midfoot sprain and joins Chad Marshall and Raul Ruidiaz as questionable. Both Marshall and Ruidiaz will be gametime decisions, per statements earlier in the week.
Schmetzer faces lineup choices with those seven injuries, two players away with S2 (Alfaro, Brown) and a long list of players who played 90 minutes in both matches over the past week:
- Brad Smith
- Kim Kee-hee
- Cristian Roldan
- Gustav Svensson
- Osvaldo Alonso
- Nicolas Lodeiro
At least they don’t have anyone suspended.
Sounders face LA Galaxy at 4 PM on Sunday, September 23 on FS1.
