Ever since they burst onto the scene with big crowds, colorful kits and attractive soccer, no brand has been more closely associated with the Seattle Sounders than XBox. The Redmond-based video game company’s name has not only been emblazoned across the team’s shirts, but has also adorned the field as well as tarps in the stands.
That will change in 2019 when a new shirt sponsor takes over, something Sounders owner Adrian Hanauer teased at the Alliance Business Meeting in November.
Now, we have a date for when the new sponsor will be unveiled.

The new sponsor will be accompanied by a new secondary shirt, as the Heritage Whites are scheduled to be retired.
That new shirt won’t be directly connected to the new sponsor — Sounder at Heart confirmed — despite much speculation based on a leak that appeared on FootyHeadlines.com.
At this point, all we know about the new sponsor is that it’s believed to be a locally-based company that intends to have a strong involvement in the soccer community. Feel free to offer your own guesses.
