Nouhou had an excellent volley of a fan’s beer

Turning lemons into lemonade is just sort of this guy’s thing.

Fans should not throw things like bottles, cans, cups or other trash onto the field. You’d like to think that goes without saying. Still, it happens.

And when someone like Nouhou is around, we sometimes get a moment of impromptu perfection.

After being forced to do the confetti shower with their backs to the 230 or so Sounders fans who made the trip to Southern California, the team sprinted to their section. The first one on the scene was unsurprisingly Nouhou, who comes sliding in.

Apparently, some LAFC fans stuck around seemingly just so they could throw stuff on the field. Without missing a beat, Nouhou lines one up and hits a perfect volley.

As any good centerback should, it also looks like Xavier Arreaga had Nouhou covered just in case he whiffed.

Nouhou was likely working out some frustrations after Brad Smith failed to find him for a wide open chance and then had his own breakaway saved at the end of the game. But I’m sure that brought just as big of a smile to him as it does to all of us.
