Jordan Morris capped off his year with the United States national team in style, scoring two more goals in a 4-0 win over Cuba in Concacaf Nations League play. In addition to putting him into the lead of the Nations League scoring race with four goals, the win also put the USMNT on top of their group and qualified them for the semifinals of League A.

Morris’ first goal was a pretty standard finish after he got behind the defense and put the USA up 2-0.

The second goal was a considerably easier finish as he put away an Aaron Long cross that looked like it may have been heading into the back of the net anyway.

Morris was then pulled at halftime, meaning he finishes the year with five goals and six assists for the USMNT in 2019. His 10 goals and eight assists in 1,736 career USMNT minutes gives him a goals+assists per 90 of .93, slightly better than Christian Pulisic and considerably better than the likes of Landon Donovan (.83), Clint Dempsey (.63) and Jozy Altidore (.63).
