With the match on Saturday the Seattle Sounders should be sending their starting lineup for opening day out for about 65-75 minutes as they develop a Saturday-Saturday-Saturday pattern over the next two weeks. FC Dallas is also likely to use starters, but they will be young when compared to the Sounders.
Dallas named Luchi Gonzalez as their new coach. Previously with the FC Dallas Academy, Gonzalez has a stable of 8 Homegrown Players signed to the First Team as of Thursday. Their DPs are between 23 and 25 years old, as well. It’s basically the MLS version of Defiance.
While Seattle is working on getting their ideal XI to fitness as well as tactical sequences on the right (the left seems settled and successful), Dallas is still settling on an XI for the season.
