It’s a Sunday during the international break and I have time to answer questions. Let’s chat Sounders, Reign, Defiance, coffee, beer, D&D, Ender’s Game and whatever else inspires you.
Open Flavor Friday Sunday
Coffee I’m drinking that I used to sell
Guatemala Antigua — high grown arabica from Guate is bright, lemony and has an excellent cocoa finish. I’m using a pour-over method today.
Beer I’m drinking that I used to sell
Revision Distant Haze — there may be no better brewery at hazies than Nevada’s Revision. Juicy and lush Distant Haze is a fine example of their process. Revision is back in the Puget Sound market and you will find it at your favorite premium bottleshopts.
Geek thoughts
The Renton History Museum is preparing an exhibit called Hero’s Feast: Finding Community through Dungeons & Dragons. I was interviewed as I’m a Renton native and resident. That’s not why you should go. You should go because our community is the leader when it comes to RPGs. These games bond us in ways that I don’t think Gygax ever expected.
Soccer writing in the pipeline
- Mars Bars, the eSounder.
- Brad Smith won the contest with Nouhou.
- Jordan Morris should have played forward for the USA.
- Danny Leyva should be an 8.
Ask me anything
If you have a question for another SaH/RoValks staffer mention them in the subject line
