• This is a Cascadia Cup match. Seattle and Vancouver both hold three MLS Cascadia Cups, but the Whitecaps are the all-time leaders with six. Portland has 2 in the MLS era and four, one less than Seattle in each era.
• Will Raul Ruidiaz extend his scoring streak? The forward has a goal in his last 6 regular season matches and last 8 competitive games.
• Jordan Morris has yet to face a team’s starting left back. If Iraqi national team player Ali Adnan doesn’t start that will still be true. Morris and Ruidiaz two of seven MLS players tied for the lead with three goals in 2019.
