FULL TIME: That’s it in Philly! The Sounders grind out a point with a heavily rotated squad. That’s 7 points from the last three. The Sounders will now get a week off as they face Sporting KC in Kansas next weekend.
84’ Sounders 0, Union 0: Fafa Picault gets a yellow for a bush league challenge on Cristian Roldan after the ball goes out of play. The Union subs also got involved in the ruckus.
79’ Sounders 0, Union 0: Here comes Raul Ruidiaz! He’s on for Will Bruin.
76’ Sounders 0, Union 0: Handwalla Bwana comes on for Jordy Delem. Delem had another really good shift.
71’ Sounders 0, Union 0: Nouhou is subbed off for Leerdam after getting really, really lucky to not pick up a second yellow card.
60’ Sounders 0, Union 0: It’s still zeros because Stef Frei is really, really good at his job.
59' ANOTHER ONE! @Stefan24Frei is UNREAL.

55’ Sounders 0, Union 0: Philly’s had a few looks from deep, but nothing to really worry about. Seattle’s feeling confident in their performance so far and it’s showing.
46’ Sounders 0, Union 0: Second half is underway.
HALF TIME: Still all zeros in Chester, PA. Seattle got into the game more towards the end of the half, creating some good counter attacking possibilities. Still a little shaky at the back, especially on Campbell’s side of the defense, but Philly hasn’t created many dangerous chances.
30’ Sounders 0, Union 0: The Sounders have gotten some opportunities in this one. Lodeiro almost scored off a long throw and Philly is getting frustrated in possession.
18’ Sounders 0, Union 0: Frei comes up with a huge save.
18' SAVE! An absolutely fantastic stop from @Stefan24Frei!

15’ Sounders 0, Union 0: It’s been all Philly early on as Seattle looks to absorb the pressure. But, the Union haven’t gotten a decent look. Seattle needs to clean up their backline because Campbell has been kind of sloppy.
Kickoff: Things are underway in Philly!
Lineups: It looks like Brian Schmetzer has opted to heavily rotate his team for this one. On one hand, it’s not so surprising given the intense week and the travel. But, on the other hand, it is perplexing given how many players will be missing from the lineup soon. Hopefully this team can channel their inner 2018 TFC performance
The Seattle Sounders take on the Philadelphia Union in Chester, PA. This is the site of the 2014 US Open Cup win.
The Sounders head into this match on short rest, having played on Wednesday night in Seattle. I suspect the Sounders may rotate heavily, but we won’t know until the lineups are out.

Keys to the Game:
- The Sounders, even if they don’t rotate, will need big games from some of their depth pieces. As is, we can almost count on Harry Shipp, Handwalla Bwana, and Jordy Delem starting in place of injured starters.
- Philly is really good at home. If the Sounders want to have a shot at getting a result in this one, they will need to unsettle Philly in possession.
