No one is hotter than Jordan Morris right now. The Seattle Sounders winger added another goal and assist to his total in Sunday’s 4-2 win over the New York Red Bulls, which earned him a spot on the MLS Team of the Week. Nicolas Lodeiro’s two goals also got him a place on the bench.
Congratulations to @JmoSmooth13 for earning @MLS Team of the Week honors! @NicolasLodeiro also named to Team of the Week bench.

Morris is enjoying probably the best overall form of his career. He now has five goals and five assists in his last seven starts.
“I think for me it’s just that some things are just bouncing my way,” Morris said. “I feel like there have been times in the past where I have been doing similar things and it just hasn’t quite bounced the same way. For me it’s just always using what I think are my abilities and whatever I can do to make the team better but just trying to be dangerous when I get the ball has been my mentality.”
