Reign FC v. Sky Blue: Gamethread, livestream, how to watch

Three points, pretty please.

Kayla Mehring

Reign FC kicks off a three-match homestand on Saturday, September 21 with a 7 PM match against Sky Blue FC. The game will stream on Yahoo! Sports for those in the U.S. and ESPN for international fans.

Allie Long is likely going to miss the game with a hip injury, but the rest of Reign FC’s players — at least those without season-ending injuries — are off the league injury report. Still, with three matches in seven days, there’s likely to be plenty of rotation.

Sky Blue is officially out of the playoff hunt, but that doesn’t mean they can’t play spoiler to plenty of teams as the season wraps up. The Reign didn’t take advantage of their chances the last time these two sides met — and that match ended in a draw. They’ll need to be more precise and lethal in front of goal today.

Absences: Injury, international duty and suspension

OUT: Taylor Smith (SEI - Right Knee), Jasmyne Spencer (SEI - Left Knee), Michelle Betos (SEI - Right Achilles), Jaycie Johnson (SEI - Right Knee), Scout Watson (SEI - Concussion), Jessica Fishlock (SEI - Left Knee)
