Despite the absence of three nominal starters away on international duty, the Seattle Sounders managed a 2-1 win over a bunkered Real Salt Lake side on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Jordan Morris and Yeimar Gómez Andrade, plus a Nouhou own goal. Morris opened the scoring after a low cross from Cristian Roldan that Will Bruin (thankfully) whiffed on. YGA’s header came from a good set piece delivery from Nicolás Lodeiro. It wasn’t always exhilarating, but the Sounders got the job done once again. Let’s rate ‘em.
