They won’t enter 2020 as the favorites, but sports gambling site Bovada has given the Seattle Sounders a pretty solid chance at repeating. Their opening odds on the Sounders are +600, which translates to 6-to-1. Only Los Angeles FC (+300) and, interestingly, Toronto FC (+500) have better odds. Atlanta United, New York City FC and the LA Galaxy are also even with Seattle at +600.

None of the favorites should come as a surprise. They were mostly among the best teams in MLS, while the Galaxy are seemingly always listed among the favorites regardless of past performance. Plus, the Galaxy did just sign Chicharito as well as several other interesting players.
There are a few head-scratchers here, though. The Montreal Impact at +700 seems like a fool’s bet, considering they missed the playoffs last year and might lose their best player.
In terms of value bets, the Columbus Crew and Sporting KC (both at +8000) seem to have had much better off-seasons than they’re being given credit for.
