Seattle Sounders FC announced today that their road game at the New England Revolution, previously scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, has been moved up to Wednesday, April 8 at Gillette Stadium. The rescheduled date was made possible due to the Sounders being eliminated from Concacaf Champions League. The first leg of the CCL semifinals will be played during the week of April 8.

Kickoff will be at 4:00 PM PT, and the local broadcast will remain on JOEtv. By rescheduling the match, the Sounders reduce the number of games for which they will be missing players for international duty during the Euros and Copa America; both start June 12 and run through mid-July. The Sounders could potentially be missing Raúl Ruidíaz (Peru), Nicolás Lodeiro (Uruguay), Xavier Arreaga (Ecuador) and Gustav Svensson (Sweden) during that period.

Surrounding the rescheduled game for the Sounders is a road trip to Nashville on April 3, followed by a weekend off and a home game against Vancouver on April 18.
