Check out this table-top soccer game Raul Ruidiaz made for his kids

The Sounders forward showed off his craft-making skills.

By now, we’ve come to appreciate Raúl Ruidíaz as one of the best strikers in Sounders history and quite possibly the best big-game scorer in league history — the man has seven goals and four assists in six career playoff games.

As followers of Ruidíaz’s Instagram feed are surely aware, he’s also a devoted dad who is constantly coming up with new ways to entertain his two children.

Turns out, he’s pretty crafty too. In his latest Instagram post, Ruidíaz builds a sort of table-top soccer game for his kids. Using a cutting board as the field, he paints it green and then puts in a bunch of nails and string to create the boundaries and obstacles. It looks pretty good!

Ruidiaz appears to have drawn inspiration from games like this one, where the object is to use your fingers to “kick” a ball through the defenders and into the goal.
