Nearly three weeks after this journey started, we’ve narrowed the field down to two competitors in the Menswear Madness Fashion Final. It’s been a long and difficult road, and I want to stop and take a moment to acknowledge you, the readers and voters, because we couldn’t have gotten here without all of your work. You should all be proud... well, sort of. You collectively made some pretty bad decisions, but that’s all water under the bridge. We’ve got a final to decide, so let’s get to it!
It seems fitting that two impeccably dressed players who moved on to new clubs in the off-season following the team’s MLS Cup victory now get the opportunity to be recognized and appreciated in the final of the Menswear Madness tournament. With two drastically different approaches, Bryan Meredith and Kim Kee-hee, both no. 2 seeds, overcame stiff competition from some of the best-dressed and most stylish players on the team in order to find themselves here in the final.
#2 Dandy Bryan Meredith vs #2 Love, Kee-hee
This final comes down to Meredith’s bright, intricately composed outfit versus the perfectly-executed simplicity of Kim’s look. It’s a matter of personal preference: do you prefer flash or simplicity? That’s not to say that those concepts only exist within one look or the other. While Meredith’s look incorporates bold colors and patterns, the look works because of the simplicity of his belt and shirt, and the fact that the whole thing is built off of three colors. Kim’s outfit might be fairly simple, but the color of his sweatshirt with the white script is fun and immediately grabs your attention. They would both be deserving champions — that’s why they’re here — but only one of them can hold the title belt. And so it falls to you, dear readers, to choose your champion.

Dandy Bryan Meredith
Before we move on, let’s think again of those we left behind in the semifinals. I’ll never forget you, Jordy Delem’s Snack Jacket.
