NWSL Challenge Cup schedule revised following withdrawal of Orlando Pride

Following the sudden withdrawal of the Orlando Pride from the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup due to an outbreak of COVID-19 among their team, the schedule for the tournament has been revised. OL Reign’s opening game remains unchanged, with them facing Sky Blue FC on June 30 at 7 PM Pacific Time.

On Saturday, July 4, the Reign now face the Houston Dash at 7 PM PT, rather than the originally scheduled morning game against the Washington Spirit. Their third match is unchanged, with them playing the Utah Royals FC at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, July 8. The final game of the preliminary round is a Cascadia clash against Portland Thorns FC on Monday, July 13 at 9:30 AM. That game had previously been scheduled for the night before.

As previously announced, all games will be streamed live on CBS All Access, with the championship match also airing on CBS. International viewers can watch each game on Twitch. All eight teams will advance to the knockout round, with the preliminary round determining seeding for the knockout bracket.
