I don’t want to sound like Alexi Lalas because I can’t stand him, but set pieces were the real winners in Seattle’s 2-2 draw with Real Salt Lake. Nicolás Lodeiro put the Sounders ahead with a coolly dispatched penalty. Justen Glad scored off an RSL corner kick. Seattle reclaimed the lead on a Yeimar Gómez Andrade header (his first with the club) in the moments following a corner (thanks in large part to a sublime cross from Alex Roldan). And finally, Pablo Ruiz hit a banger following yet another RSL corner. So there you have it. Set pieces.
