Expansion draft - I think players should have more rights.

I was paying attention to the draft yesterday and I hate the system and think its totally shitty because often they draft a player and then immediately trade. This is great for the teams but horrible for players and their families as often their lives are upended without notice and usually these are the players who suffer under the MLS system which feels a lot like forced servitude for younger players. I think its a cruel system and the players should have a right to refuse unless they get a lot of compensation. Imagine ripping your kids out of school, losing jobs you have in the off season because MLS low balls you, spouses and partners who have their own jobs etc. I think its just shitty. Maybe they need to institute a no trade rule for people selected in the draft. Thoughts?
