UPDATE: Jordan Morris played 66 minutes with Swansea City trailing 3-0 at the time. Morris was arguably Swansea City’s most dangerous player and was able to show off his speed on a few occasions, but was largely starved of service and was not able to register a shot or a key pass.
Jordan Morris will get arguably the biggest test in his professional life today. Not only will he get his first start for Swansea City, but it will come in a fifth-round FA Cup match against Premier League leaders Manchester City.

This will be Morris’ third appearance since joining Swansea City, having come off the bench in his two previous appearances. Steve Cooper seems to be easing Morris into the rotation, extending him from 8 minutes in his first appearance to 16 minutes in his most recent appearance. Although Swansea won both matches to pull within two points of first-place Norwich City, Morris has struggled to make a sustained impact.
Manchester City leads the Premier League by five points and has allowed just 14 goals, eight fewer than anyone else. They are coming off a 4-1 blowout of Liverpool on Sunday.
