Your Seattle Sounders hosted Real Salt Lake (in a stadium! with people!) and, once again, found a way to win. The first goal was thankfully swept home by Cristian Roldan to cap some sweet interplay that originated from Jimmy Medranda winning the ball high up. The second was a cooly converted Raúl Ruidíaz penalty. Those bookended an RSL goal (but don’t worry — it wasn’t from the run of play).
In other news, due to much clamoring, I’ll be doing everything in my power to display the RSL Man of the Match in something other than a pie chart when Realio’s Ratings posts. No guarantees, but I’ve watched some YouTube videos, so I’m feeling pretty confident.
