Nicolás Lodeiro and Raúl Ruidíaz are among the Top 10 MLS players in FIFA22’s ratings, it was revealed on Monday. Lodeiro’s rating of 80 is tied for the fourth highest in MLS, while Ruidíaz’s 79 is tied for seventh. Inter Miami was the only other MLS team with two players among the Top 10.

Both players got a slight bump from FIFA21. Lodeiro was rated as 78 in that edition of the popular EA game, while Ruidíaz was a 76.
Lodeiro’s improvements came in pace (+3), shooting (+1), passing (+3), physicality (+5). His rating remained stable in dribbling and defense. Ruidíaz got a bump in shooting (+2), dribbling (+1) and physicality (+5), while staying the same in pace and defense.
While the entire list of player ratings is not yet available, FIFA did put out Top 20s for some of the top leagues in Europe. As you’d expect, the Top 10 players in MLS would come well outside equivalent spots in those leagues, with Ligue 1 probably being the closest comparatively. Carlos Vela, the top-rated player in MLS at 83, would be 13th in Ligue 1.
American Gio Reyna was one of the game’s most improved players (+11).
The ratings for several OL Reign players who play for national teams included in the game were also released, with three Reign players among the Top 22 women’s players. Megan Rapinoe (90) and Dzsenifer Marozsan (90) were tied for 5th overall and Eugenie Le Sommer (89) is tied for 11th, while former Reign player Kim Little (87) is tied for 17th.
