Sporting KC vs. Sounders: Highlights, stats and quotes

New, 9 comments

Sounders move back into first place.

The Seattle Sounders snapped a six-game winless streak at Children’s Mercy Park on Sunday, scoring a 2-1 win over Sporting KC. The Sounders got goals from Cristian Roldan and Will Bruin, withstanding a rally from Sporting KC that saw them pull one goal back and putting on a ton of pressure toward the end.

The Sounders held up, though, and reclaimed the top spot in the Western Conference while still having a game in hand.
