Seattle came into this match sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. After a first half in which they created the better chances and controlled possession, it looked like they might remain there, thanks to a misplayed Nouhou clearance and a 1-0 halftime deficit. Instead, Cristian Roldan did Cristian Roldan things in the second half, as Seattle began their climb out of the cellar.
Rate your Sounders, and then let us know in the comments what we should call Cristian’s goal-assist-penalty-earned trifecta. It needs a better name than “alternate hat trick.”
