It looks like the Reign might have yet another ownership change in the works.
Foster Gillett, son of the former owner of Liverpool FC (George Gillett), was looking to buy the two minority stakes (around 20% each) in Olympique Lyonnais held by Pathé and IDG Capital Partners. It appears that Jean-Michel Aulas has also agreed to sell at least some of his majority stake to push Gillett's overall holding over 50%.
Foster Gillett has a small connection to the Pacific Northwest, as he formerly (currently? Can't tell for sure) ran a family's company called Booth Creek, which owned managed Snoqualmie Summit for a decade.
