MLS: Seattle Sounders FC at Toronto FC Kevin Sousa-USA TODAY Sports

On the heels of a frustrating midweek loss to another Canadian side, Seattle Sounders FC travelled to Toronto and came away with a solid win on short rest. The rotated side appeared lacking on paper, but this win was a testament to the team’s fantastic depth. The first goal was scored by newcomer Dylan Teves after being created through Stef Cleveland, Jimmy Medranda, and Léo Chú (who absolutely had his way with Carlos Salcedo). The second goal belonged to the vets, as Alex Roldan played Fred Montero, who worked about as perfect a give-and-go with Nico Lodeiro as you are likely to see. And that was that. 2-0. Simple.
