Djimi Traore will miss Saturday's game against the Colorado Rapids with a hamstring injury according to Seattle Sounders coach Sigi Schmid, Joshua Mayers reported on Thursday.
Without Traore, Schmid is running out of options on the depleted back line. The main candidates to replace Traore on Saturday are Zach Scott and Patrick Ianni.
It is another blow to the Sounders defensive unit already running a bit thin. According to a tweet by Don Ruiz, the Sounders will also most likely be missing the services of Leo Gonzalez on Saturday.
Sounders Djimi Traore out this weekend. Gonzalez sounds doubtful. Dempsey questionable. Hahnemann out with illness.

Splicing Ruiz's adjectives between Gonzalez and Clint Dempsey, it looks like we will most likely see Marc Burch starting in place of Gonzalez again on Saturday. Gonzalez is currently rehabbing a groin injury, and Dempsey was a game-time decision against the New York Red Bulls.
If Dempsey plays, he might be called up for national team service the following day, according to USMNT coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
