Reign On: Episode 4

Scott Levy releases his latest short film on the Seattle Reign, this one focusing on their recent win over FC Kansas City.

If you don't already find yourself falling in love with the Seattle Reign, give this relatively short video a watch. Not only are the players and coaches eminently lovable, but they can really play.

Two moments stand out in particular. The first is in the locker room where the team wishes head coach Laura Harvey a happy birthday. It's pretty clear this is a close-knit bunch who enjoys being around one another. The other is the game-winning play. Director Scott Levy manages to capture Kiersten Dallstream's wonderful cross and Keelin Winters' equally impressive header. That Dallstream is naturally right-footed -- and several MLS players have confirmed to me that this is a play many of them struggle to execute -- she places her left-footed cross in a perfect spot.

As always, the music fits the scenery wonderfully and the footage is impeccable. I know there are those of you slow to warm up to these girls, but this is good stuff.
