USWNT 23 Stories - Megan Rapinoe

The Reign attacker talks about games of baseball and crawdad fishing expeditions with her twin sister.

Leading up to the 2015 World Cup, US Soccer is profiling each of the players on the national team roster with a short, well-produced video interview on some topic, soccer-related or otherwise.

Seattle Reign forward-slash-winger Megan Rapinoe used her camera time to talk about her close upbringing with her twin sister Rachel in rural Redding, California — particularly their time spent crawdad fishing (and for the record, 'crawdad' is the correct term for crayfish, as I learned growing up in Idaho. Also, caddisfly larvae are called 'periwinkles' and I'm sure Rapinoe would agree with me on this).

Rapinoe is expected to play one more game for Seattle (at home this weekend against Washington) before joining the national team for a series of friendlies leading up to the World Cup in Canada in June.

The videos for the other 22 players can be seen here.
