Yes, the rumors is true. After tweeting a couple teaser images last week, we at Ride of the Valkyries have started a podcast about your favorite NWSL team, the Seattle Reign FC. It’s called “Coffee & Valkyries” and here’s what it’s all about:
Reading about the Seattle Reign FC is good. A podcast about the Seattle Reign FC is better. Coffee & Valkyries is a podcast extending the coverage that the Ride of the Valkyries blog provides about Seattle’s NWSL club. Join the writers behind the blog as they talk about the most awesome team in the NWSL. Along the way there may be some special guests, some stories, and more. So get yourself a cup of coffee and join us.
The first episode is hosted by Susie Rantz and myself and is pretty much an introduction about ourselves, how each of us formed a relationship with soccer, what’s a TV show and book worth checking out, and what’s cooler: pirates or ninjas. Get to know two of the writers of Ride of the Valkyries as well as get an idea of what future episodes will be all about.
A couple housekeeping things are still being worked on like getting an awesome logo for the podcast and getting the podcast submitted to iTunes, but we are very excited to finally get this podcast up and running and we hope you enjoy what’s to come.
