Reign FC unveiled a new secondary kit last night at a public event in Tacoma, while simultaneously announcing a new multi-year partnership with Boeing, who will have their logo displayed prominently on the back of both the primary and secondary kits. The kits also feature a new, cleaner font for player names and numbers.
“We are proud that Boeing—a brand that is so deeply integrated into the fabric of this region—recognizes and values the impact that women’s professional soccer can have on our community,” said Reign FC president and owner Bill Predmore in a team release. “We are excited by the opportunity to work with Boeing and look forward to a long partnership between our organizations.”
The new kits, which will be worn for the 2019 and 2020 seasons, are primarily white but feature a black collar and a vertical stripe down the middle which is made up of a black diamond pattern mirroring the diamonds found in the crown on the club’s crest.
“The kits look amazing – they are the perfect fit for our club,” said Reign FC midfielder Bev Yanez in the release. “This region is full of innovative companies doing work that is changing our world – we are so proud to have the logos of Zulily and Boeing on our jerseys, showcasing the incredible work created right here in the Pacific Northwest.”
The team is expected to wear the new kits for the first time on Sunday, when they travel to face the Houston Dash at 3:00 PM PT.
