OL Reign sign goalkeeper Cosette Morché

The Georgia native had a stellar collegiate career at Texas A&M.

The brief lack of goalkeepers at OL Reign has been resolved, as the team announced today the signing of goalkeeper Cosette Morché for the 2021 NWSL season, with a team option for 2022. Morché joins from Eskilstuna United DFF in the Swedish Damallsvenskan, where she made 10 appearances in 2020 and kept two clean sheets.

“I’m so grateful to be able to join OL Reign. They are an excellent club, and I look forward to being challenged by my new coaches and teammates,” said Morché in a team release. “I’m excited to get started and help add to the team’s success in 2021.”

A native of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Morché first played collegiately at the University of Louisiana before transferring to Texas A&M prior to her junior year. With the Aggies, she kept 20 clean sheets and had a record of 35-7-3, helping lead the team a title at the 2017 SEC Championship.

“We are excited to have Cosette join us for the upcoming season,” said OL Reign head coach Farid Benstiti in the release. “We have been closely following her career in Sweden and believe she has great potential and quality.”
