OL Reign is back in action on Saturday night in their final regular-season match of the year. They head on the road to face Kansas City, with a playoff spot already secure but a first-round bye on the line. The game kicks off at Legends Field at 5 PM PT and will stream on Paramount+ for fans in the U.S. and Twitch for international viewers.
Win or draw and the Reign retain their second-place spot, which would give them a bye for the first round of the playoffs and a home semifinal match.
After some uncharacteristic performances in their last two matches, OL Reign will be hoping for some momentum heading into the playoffs. And they’ll be doing it in a tough environment. KC hasn’t lost a match at home since June and have figured out how to contain visitors on their narrow field.
What to Watch
- Defend well in transition
- For the love of everything, please score early — and get Bethany Balcer the Golden Boot
- Disrupt KC high up the field
