As they inch closer to the halfway point of the season, OL Reign will continue their quest to build some momentum and get above the line and into the playoffs. Today, they are looking for a win on the road against the Orlando Pride. The match kicks off at 4 PM PT at Exploria Stadium and will stream on Twitch for all viewers, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Both OL Reign and the Pride are coming into the match after a frustrating set of results. Orlando started the season red hot but have struggled to get points in recent weeks — losing three of their last four games.
Expect a lot of rotation for the Reign, with players overcoming injuries and fatigue. Goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce and defender Jimena Lopez made the trip to Orlando and will be available for selection.
Interim head coach Sam Laity will be facing interim head coach Carl Green, as Orlando Pride head coach Marc Skinner resigned earlier this week to take another offer in Europe.
What to Watch
- Clean, crisp passing
- Contain Sydney Leroux and Taylor Kornieck
- Don’t break down in the second half
