The Reign are still building their team, but the external components are just about complete with the announcement of a home venue and a date for season-ticket sales to start.

The Seattle Reign will play their home games at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila and season-tickets will go on sale Thursday at 9 a.m. and can be purchased through their website. There are four packages available for the 13-game home schedule (which includes two exhibitions) and will start at $195. Season tickets in the covered grandstand will cost $234 ($18 per game).

For more ticket price details, check out their Facebook page.

Reign owner Bill Predmore said other venues had been considered, including Memorial Stadium in Seattle Center, but that none were as suitable as Starfire, which should be very busy this year. In addition to hosting Reign matches, the Sounders Women and Sounders Reserves will play there again. The Sounders U-23s will also play a pair of games against Crossfire at the 4,500-seat stadium.

In addition to being the only soccer-specific stadium in the region of that size, Starfire also has the capability to serve as a training home for the Reign as well as potentially house their business offices.

The full schedule is expected to be released next month with the season opening in April.
