Tonight's second pre-season match finds the SSW searching for their first win of the season. They are also still filling out their roster, so trialists will continue to factor in the game. The Sounders Women announced two more signings this week, and their Australian, Hannah Brewer is finally in town. I am told that she is still working through an ankle injury, so she won't be available until next week. The Huskies have not released their players to play yet, so the SSW will have to make due again with less than their full team.

The SSW signed two defenders in Nikki Ambrose and Laura Rayfield. Ambrose has Canadian U-20 experience and played for the Whitecaps last season. Rayfield plays for Oregon State and is from Auburn, WA. Hannah Brewer is also a defender. With all of the experience, they are looking pretty strong on the back line. At this point, the SSW only have two actual forwards signed to the team, Jenna Richardson and Allie Beahan (Allie is unavailable because she is a Husky). Look for Sarah Cambell and Melissa Busque to continue to push into the attacking half, to play off trialist forwards Megan Lindsay, Theresa Henle and possibly Maddie Shultz. Side note here, Maddie is only 15.

Missing Huskies for this game are Beahan, Lindsay Elston, Isabel Farrell, Megan Kufeld and Annie Sittauer.

A couple of Redhawks to watch for are Forward Stephanie Verdoia (#24) and midfielders Kaina Kraft (#3), Kat Prati (#9) and Julia Besagno (#12).
