Australian Hannah Brewer Signs with Sounders Women

The Seattle Sounders Women continue to fill out their roster with National Team level experience.

Their latest acquisition is Hannah Brewer, an Australia U-20 International. She is a young left back with a ton of experience. At 19, it's hard to believe that she could have four seasons of professional soccer experience, but she's been with the W-League Newcastle Jets since she was 15. She is the youngest player ever signed to the club. She has 29 games for the Jets.

She was a captain for the Australian U-16 team, and she played for the Australian U-17 World Cup team. In 2012, she also added a cap for the U-20 National Team. Now, she’s moving abroad to join the Sounders Women.

"We are pleased to have Hannah join us this year. Hannah has all the qualities needed to be a senior international player for Australia," stated Head Coach and Sounders Women GM, Hubert Busby Jr.

Per the team press release, Hannah is from Blue Ray on the Central Coast of Australia.

This brings the current signed roster to 10, with more signings to be announced soon.
