The other familiar faces that will be in the purple and gold will be Isabel Farrell, who scored the loan goal in their last match. Allie Beahan and Annie Sittauer, who are both among my personal faves, and keeper Megan Kufield round out the SSW/Husky players.
Two other players to watch for are sophomore forward, Jaclyn Softli and freshman midfielder, Amanda Perez. Let that sink in for a minute. That's right, I said Perez. Super V's younger sister is a Dawg (I mean that in the nicest way). She is also on the Mexican National Team. I'm thinkin' the Perez sisters would be pretty exciting to watch on the same pitch. Since she's a freshmen, perhaps we will yet see her in the Rave Green next season.
I am hopeful that our very own Matilda, Hannah Brewer will make her first appearance in the Rave Green. She has been nursing an ankle injury since her last match in Australia, but should be well enough to at least play for part of the match. Expect to see other new faces, as the just released college ladies make their way into training with the Sounders Women.
This stands to be the finest display of women's soccer at this level yet. This is also going to be a well attended match, so if it sells out, you can still watch via the live stream on USL-Live here. Plan to get there early for the best seats. The weather is supposed to be fabulous, yet again. Tickets will be available online here, if you want to purchase them before you face the Starfire parking struggle. They are available at the gate, until they are gone.
