Sounders Women at Colorado Rush: Game thread

On Father's Day, Seattle finishes six consecutive games on the road against the team at the bottom of the standings. That gives them a good chance to remain winless on the season and at the top of the division.

This afternoon the Sounders Women begin the second half of their season and play the fifth and final game in an epic road trip that's taken up most of June. After today, Seattle has only one more road game remaining on the season, so you'll have plenty of chances to head down to Starfire and watch the team.

And judging by the results so far you'll be watching a very competitive team. You wouldn't know most of the season has been on the road, as the team remains undefeated and has three wins in their last four. That keeps them just ahead of the juggernaut Pali Blues in the standings. They're on course for a pretty epic matchup next weekend in Seattle.

But first thing's first. . they have to finish this road trip strong and will do it against the team at the bottom of the Western standings. Colorado has scored only 6 goals in their 5 games and is winless on the season. So if the team sticks to form, they should remain undefeated for their homecoming next week.
