While we still don't have a full list of FIFA 16 player ratings for the women, EA Sports has at least shared their Top 20. The top spot should be of little surprise, as Carli Lloyd is coming off a dominating performance in the Women's World Cup. But after that it gets a bit more interesting, and surely will be the subject of much debate.
The Seattle Reign are well represented with Megan Rapinoe at No. 2 (including a five-star "weak foot" rating) and Hope Solo at No. 8 (she's the top rated goalkeeper).
Abby Wambach at No. 3 will surely cause much angst, though. Wambach isn't even the third best player on her team, let alone the third best woman in the world. Similarly, Christie Rampone was rated as the 14th best player in the world and the second best center back -- only USWNT teammate Becky Sauerbrunn is better -- despite logging just 14 minutes at the most recent World Cup. It would appear both players are being looked at almost as "Legends," similar to the likes of Landon Donovan and Alexi Lalas.
