The offseason for MLS is in full swing, though there are questions about whether we’ll see a 2020 MLS season start on time, with the lack of a new CBA (more on that in a future podcast).

In the meantime, two of the newest expansion teams (Inter Miami and Nashville SC) continue their preparations for the 2020 season. Nashville SC in particular has been in the news recently, with reports that their season ticket sales are lagging their expansion brethren, as well as recent entrants to MLS such as Atlanta United, Minnesota United and Orlando City.

There are also concerns about the roster build of the team, and the stadium plans which have them building a new 30,000-seat stadium, though those have been beset by lawsuits and the usual political problems.

To discuss these issues, I called up Tim Sullivan of Club and Country, a site dedicated to all things Nashville SC, to check on the progress of the team, to see there is cause of concern in light of those reports, and where he seems the team going as they prepare for the 2020 season.
