Should we be excited that MLS is Back?

New, 27 comments

The Sounder at Heart podcast reconvenes the large group to discuss the return to play plan.

Barring a dramatic change in direction, we will have MLS games to talk about in less than a month. On some level, that is an extremely exciting proposition. Having matches to discuss for the first time in four months will be a welcome change.

At the same time, it’s hard to ignore what else is going on in the world and at home. Mark Kastner, Jeremiah Oshan, Tim Foss and Miki Turner got together for the first time in far too long to discuss the various implications of the MLS is Back Tournament on this week’s podcast.

Generally speaking, everyone is both excited and worried. To the degree it matters, they also like the Sounders chances of making a serious run and what could end up being the only trophy awarded this season.
