Against the odds, the Seattle Sounders twice grabbed the lead against Real Salt Lake. Both times, however, they surrendered frustrating goals. It brings up the age old question: was this tie one point gained or two points dropped? Jeremiah, Miki, Casey and Ari debate that issue on the latest episode of the Sounder at Heart podcast.
However they feel about that game, the group seemed to feel very good about the overall state of the Sounders as they’ve now claimed seven points in the three games they’ve played since returning from the MLS is Back Tournament.
Finally, they give a bit of a preview for Sunday’s match against the suddenly reeling Portland Timbers.
