American Football - A Sounders Documentary
This isn’t necessarily a sequel to American Football, it’s more the tale of a championship.
The distinctive look of LEVYfilms returns to celebrate the Obafemi Martins powered victory. The technical expertise explodes in the slow motion used. Watch the victory again, from a different angle.
Scott Levy originally released a version of this without any of the slow-motion edits that have become one of his trademarks, mainly because he had been accused of over-using the effect. But I actually think this is a much better edit. Among the details you can really appreciate are the blatant handball on German Meara that went uncalled, as well as the skill involved in Brad Evans' goal. Anyway, enjoy.
The undeniable highlight of this 12-minute video is around the 5-minute mark where the Lamar Neagle goal is captured in stunning detail. You can see how Obafemi Martins is able to control the original pass and what a great play Mauro Rosales makes to get it over to Neagle.
The unique structure and viewpoint of Levy Films provides an interesting six minute capsule from the win over the Vancouver Whitecaps.
