Report: Jeff Parke Negotiating With Philadelphia Union

Parke is reportedly in talks with the Philadelphia Union and other trades and rumors from around MLS.

Otto Greule Jr

Brother site, The Brotherly Game is reporting that the Philadelphia Union are trying to acquire Jeff Parke. Parke is out of contract, but the Seattle Sounders hold his right. Parke had his best year as a Sounder and likely the best of his career, but with budgets tight the near 200k salary of Parke may be a place to cut salary.

Monday the trade window officially opens for one day with the final lists of players available in the Re-Entry Draft available shortly before Friday's Phase One of that player acquisition process taking place.

In Rumors not directly Seattle related:

Real Salt Lake sending players to New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers. Olave and Espindola to RBNY for allocation money. Will Johnson heads down to Balsa FC, but Balsa FC isn't done yet. They are also rumored to be acquiring backup Michael Harrington from Sporting Kansas City.

But trade rumors, specifically DP rumors will always hit hard and heavy. There is no surprise that almost all of these feature LA and New York.

Real Juninho is supposedly heading to New York right now. He's the Juninho of 7 straight titles with Lyon and free kicks that Beckham dreams of being able to make. No, really. CarlosT first dreamed of him in Rave Green a few years ago.

Kaka (seriously, all the Brazilian old players to MLS - what next 1st Ronaldo and Ronaldhin0?) was confirmed by a Galaxy exec. The arms race is getting crazy, and LA wants to be the Soviet Union... evil empire right? Replacing Beckham is going to be fun for them, but it won't be about getting another supermodel, but winning more titles.

Arshavin has a friend who thinks he should come here, or something. Which means it is absolutely certain!!!!!1111. Frank Lampard is less likely than before because KAKA, and Ashley Cole is also going to be a free too.
